Mission Statement

The environment at Tu Moda spa and salon was created to promote beauty and wellness – a place where we can help our guests achieve a balance between physical appearance and a state of well-being. Tu Moda is a comprehensive salon and spa where all of our guests’ necessities can be fulfilled, where only the most pure and natural products available are used, along with providing you, our guests, with a satisfying experience.

At Tu Moda, you will experience a team of professionals, caring and well educated in their fields. This combination is what enables us to support each other and to thrive on our creativity.

When I opened Tu Moda in 1987, there were just a few of us with a desire to be the best in the area. Thankfully, we had loyal guests who believed in us and helped us to pursue our goals. Since then, we have grown but have not lost the passion for our profession and the caring feeling for our guests. These values have become the solid foundation of our success.

Over the years, I have come to realize the importance of keeping abreast of the ongoing changes in the salon and spa industry. I believe it is imperative that we continue to invent, develop and introduce new products and services that not only benefit Tu Moda and its guests, but also our community that we serve.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who continue to help me achieve my goals … my supportive family, staff, friends, and most importantly, you, our loyal guest.

To Better Meet Your Needs…

We ask that you turn off your cell phone while in the spa. Keep in mind that you are here to relax!

Children must be supervised at all times in our salon and spa for their safety and for the comfort of our other guest. Please be advised, parents are responsible for their children’s actions.

We welcome guests 18 years of age or older to enjoy all of our Spa Services. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent/ legal guardian upon the arrival of their first service, to fill out paperwork and authorizing consent to receive scheduled services.

Please use lockers to store your clothing and valuables when having services in the spa. Tu Moda is not responsible for clothing or personal items damaged during services.

We have a 30 day return policy on product purchases.

Due to the department of public health, individual company product policies and sanitation purposes- some items are final sale purchases, such as (but not limited to): makeup, styling tools, brushes, and select accessories.

Please note, we have a new gift card system and we are no longer able to track your gift cards purchased in our computer system. All gift card sales are final. Please treat your gift cards as cash.

Leaving gratuity is always left to the discretion of our guests. Gratuities are CASH ONLY!

Effective July 1st, 2024, a service fee may be assessed by our payment partners for each credit card payment processed, which will be detailed on their receipt.

We no longer accept DEBIT cards!

Spa Appointment Tips:

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment in order to fill out necessary paperwork and to change into your spa attire.

When scheduling your spa reservation, if you wish to use the steam shower before or after your services, please notify your coordinator during the booking process so it can properly reserved coordinating with the rest of your reservation.

You should not shave the day of a body treatment.

To ensure that your needs are best served, we encourage you to reschedule for services before you leave the Salon/Spa. For ease at checkout we now have our Assistants or Stylist when available on the floor to rebook any future appointments on our IPAD’s. However, we know this isn’t always possible and we will always do our best to accommodate walk-in’s or call-in’s.

Massage Guidelines:

Unless the service description specifies otherwise, it is customary to wear just your robe to your service. You will be given the opportunity to disrobe and cover yourself in privacy. Throughout your services, your body will be draped with linens for modesty. At no time during your treatment will you be fully exposed.

Any inappropriate behavior during a service will result in discontinuing the service and is left to the discretion of the service provider.

Massages should not be performed during your first trimester of pregnancy. If you have a high risk pregnancy, please consult with your doctor prior to receiving a massage.

Tu Moda is NOT Certified to do Oncology Massage. Ask your physician for recommendations.

Waxing guidelines:

Hair length should be approximately ¼ to ½ inch in length. (Hair should be shaven 3 weeks prior to a waxing appointment.)

Brazilian waxes cannot be preformed if you have any outbreaks of contagious rashes or infections. We do not provide this service if clients have their monthly cycle. Please call to reschedule.

Our staff is ONLY trained in Female Bikini/Brazilian waxing.

Facial guidelines:

If you have facial cold sores- please reschedule your facial appointment. They are very contagious and exfoliation, steaming and skin manipulation may cause outbreak in other areas of the face.

We strongly advise against getting a facial treatment closer than 2 weeks prior to any major event.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the limited availability and the amount of Last-Minute Cancellations and NO SHOWS, we are forced to take a credit card for ALL reservations.  A failure to cancel before 48-hours or NO SHOW will result in the FULL charge of your service.  We hope you will understand that all our service providers work on commission and when clients NO SHOW or don’t give us a 48-hour notice for their appointment it affects their wages.

We hope you do not take it personal, but unfortunately it is the way we must do business now due to the amount of lost revenue. We always appreciate your loyalty, patronage, and value you as our client.

Each individual case will be reviewed yearly.
